Friday 16th July - Aberystwyth via Tregaron, Lampeter to Carmarthen

Saturday 17th July - Carmarthen via Pembrey, Millennium Coastal Path to
finish on the finish ramp of the Swansea Bay Rally

Join the WRC-BRC Cycle!

In 2009 a bunch of rally drivers and co-drivers decided to cycle across Wales in an attempt to raise funds for two charities which are very important to motorsport competitors, the Wales Air Ambulance and Spinal Research.

When they began cycling, they could never have imagined that their week of painful leg muscles and numb bums would end with over £20,000 being raised! Cyclists included Mark Higgins and Gwyndaf Evans who both went on to win their sections of Rally Isle of Man a week later!

The team have now outlined plans for a 2010 event, raising money for the same charities, and you can take part. From Monday 12th July until Saturday 17th July, the intrepid team will don their Lycra shorts once more to collect money along the route, online, and at various events being run along the route - and you are welcome to join them.

Whether you want to join them on a bicycle, offer a supporting role collecting money in a bucket somewhere along the route, help to organise a celebrity rally raffle or forum one evening along the route, provide some cycling gear or your cooking or wheel changing skills along the way - please get in touch! And if you are unable to attend, you can donate some money via this website. Thanks in advance for any help you can give us as we endeavour to equal the amazing amount we raised last year. We really appreciate it.
